Equitable Development Action

Equitable Development Action (EDACT) is committed to advancing equity, economic inclusion, and generational wealth in underserved communities. Founded in 2019 as the Minnesota African Coalition (MAC), EDACT evolved in 2023 to expand its mission and serve a broader range of communities experiencing systemic inequities.

We empower underserved businesses, nonprofits, and communities through capacity building, technical assistance, workforce development, entrepreneurship support, and strategic partnerships. By addressing systemic barriers and strengthening the organizations that serve our communities, we help create pathways to sustainable growth, economic opportunity, and long-term prosperity.

Through innovative programs, community partnerships, and advocacy, EDACT continues to champion a future where every community has the resources, opportunities, and support needed to thrive.
